This initiative focuses on students who cannot afford even the basics required to attend and learn with dignity. Support is provided thoughtfully and fully, so the most vulnerable children receive everything they need to stay in school and succeed.
Current Update
Twenty preschool-friendly school bags have been secured and set aside for early learners, ensuring the youngest children can begin their schooling equipped and confident. This stock will be distributed at the start of the term and on a rolling basis as new needs are verified by teachers and the Foundation.
How Support Works
Need-First Approach
Rather than distributing one item to thousands, the program prioritizes students who lack multiple essentials — bags, notebooks, shoes, and uniforms — so that help is complete and effective.
Dignified Verification
Teachers and the Foundation jointly identify children whose families cannot presently afford required supplies. Support is offered after a simple, dignified assessment — no stigma, no bureaucracy.
Full Learning Kits
Where needed, students receive a complete kit: bag, notebooks, stationery, and when appropriate, school shoes and uniforms — removing every immediate barrier to attendance.
Continuous Assistance
Replacements and top-ups (extra notebooks, pens, or a new pair of shoes mid-year) are provided based on ongoing school feedback, so learning never pauses for want of a basic item.
Responsible Sourcing
Durable, age-appropriate materials are chosen to withstand rural conditions and reduce replacement costs across the year. We prioritize quality over quantity — one good backpack that lasts three years is better than three cheap ones that fall apart.
